First of all: WHO CARES?

The people on this forum seem to have the attitude that says 'they are who they are and they do not care about what others think about them.' I say, what is so wrong with having this outlook on the rest of the world? We are doing our thing, and taking care of whats in our country's best interest... weather you like the way we are going about it is up to each American to decide, but there is no question that our actions now are being made for our future.

In the actual report, it even says the following:

"While the United States can’t base its foreign policies on opinion polling—

either at home or abroad—this consistently negative view of U.S. foreign

policy is both a liability and a sign that something has gone seriously awry...."

If we start basing our foreign policy on OTHER (foreign) people's feelings, then we start to tear away at what this country was founded on, liberty and freedom. To change our foreign policy to make others happy with us is foolish and ignorant.

And if I were you, I would also direct your comments about Fox News on the CBS, CNN, and NBC ... they are just as democratically charged as Fox is Republican.

not really... fox news is more soap opera drama entertainment than it is actual news. Anybody with a good head on their shoulders can see that fox news is a media tool for those with money.

A good example of their bullshit is their news articles on computer hackers known as "anonymous"

It is a little alarming how many non-Americans view us. I met all kinds of international friends when I was in college (from China, UK, Australia, Portugal, Mexico, etc. etc.), and all of them basically said the same thing: In their country, Americans are perceived as arrogant know-it-alls. Kinda makes me scared to travel overseas.

Compared to them, we are. We walk the walk, we have the right to talk the talk. It's jealousy. Some countries are jealous that they were never as powerful as we are and never will be, the others are jealous because their glory days are long long over.

I only posted that link as an opinion deal,no biggie ,other than that I know several ppl that just like me that do not hate their country,but are very very pissed about the system and

the Bush Administration I also never ever watch Fox news they sensationalize everything.
