There are songs that have definitely made me 'tear up' i'm thinking most of the time that has more to do with me than the song. 

But some songs that have this sort of "I'm going to be sappy and fuck you cynics if you don't like it" seem to get me.    Cindy Lauper's "true colors' is one that leaps to mind.
