How 'bout a LQ lock-in?

I used to be a member at the 13-John R Location, loved every minute of it. I probably spent WAY too much time and money there... On a rating system with over 1,000 members, I think I climbed to the 26th rung at one point. I still carry my members key chain around with me, even though I'm not a member anymore. (gawd, how big of a dork am I? :blink )

Anyhoo, DGN LQ night sounds great! If we have more than a few people going, we'll want to call ahead if it's going to be on a Friday or Saturday.

I know you guys are excited about this LazerQuest Event, but if you want it to be an official "DGN Event" it will have to go through some of the mods as well. Some considerations have to be made to make it good for as many as possible, such as but not including...

Date and Time have to NOT conflict with DGN Night at CC on Saturday

Location has to be as centralized as possible, I know that you know the maze well at 13/john R, but is that the most appropriate location since many people live in the Ann Arbor and outlying areas? I have found that the closest it can be made to livonia, the better. Livonia is the physical mid point for nearly everyone on the board.

Lead in Time must be plenty to properly advertise and get the word out.

Don't promise any certain number of people...you never know how many will show up...and that is NOT related to how many say they will.

I will back you guys and assist, I need at least 1 other moderator to show interest and have requested that of them. I will let you know what I find.

Saturday wouldnt nessisarly (it might) conflict with DGN Night , depending on the location and boot-out time.

Theres also various "Lazer Tag" type places not just LQ.

Im not partial to anything at this point, just running my mouth.
