Ha! You still are a major pot head.

Yeah, it was intense. Even when I used to be a massive pothead, I NEVER wanted a bag of gonja as much as I wanted more salvia that night. It was crazy. It took my mind maybe 2 hours to realize how silly I was thinking.

That's why we went out and bought "emergency pot", to help me come down off it  Also, he figured going out and having me be social would help instead of just sitting in the house and thinking about it for the rest of the night.

There have been a total of 3 threads devoted to Salvia on this board alone over the years I have been here...

She is the plant goddess mother plant, the queen of all plants

DO NOT ABUSE or you will regret.

I will not post the tinture link but if anyone is curious message me

It was a wonderful experience, when done right....when not..nothing or LOOK OUT

I have known others who have various different experiences from smoking and tincture.

My friend who did the tincture with me...same amount...nothing.

I had to lay on the couch for a half an hour after blowing out my crown chakra trying to meditate...don't do that. Lay down with a guide and JOURNEY!

I know a chemical called Strophanthin(heart stimulant) comes from this plant

but have also heard it has other effects as well, and I would not mind giving it a test drive.

once I get more info, also Foxglove,(digitalis) is very plentiful around where I live.

Though I would love to get my hands on some peyote. I have never tried it. Though I have tried Salvia x80 twice. Both times I have had serious visions, body trips and competely out of my mind. I wasent a fan of it though. I have done mushrooms plently of times and never had problems the salvia was just a bit off for me.

Aha! So my suspicions about my friend's possible addiction to Salvia may have some founding. Now I am doubly concerned.

You are the first person I have ever heard bring this disturbing "crack-like" side-effect to light, Cher. It did not affect me in this manner, but all people are different. Maybe some folks are predisposed to taking an intense liking to it.

I think I am going to sit him down and have a LONG discussion about this plant. I'm afraid either the amount of Salvia he uses will turn his brain into oatmeal, or he is going to brain himself on something falling-- due to his Salvia sea-legs.

It seems to me...that it is not addictive...but that it actually calls you back to it...Cherny, was not done talking to her(Salvia)....

I have not seen anyone seem 'addicted'..in several years of experience.

I am a friend of Salvia...it is not my Allie...so I have not really studied too deeply about it...

I've alway had fun doing Salvia, most the time I would laugh at anything and everything. I still feel normal, but then again, what is normal?

This is what I know about Salvia. It has to be third generation plant grown in the same soil and come from a certain strain...before its leaves are potent enough...

The leaves DON'T RETAIN there compounds...you have to dry them and smoke them fresh or freeze it...smoke within 2 weeks of harvest. Or you get nothing and think its b/s.

Smoking is better because then you can gage how much to take in

The tinture bottle says HOLD ON TOUNGE (dont swallow!!!) for 11 min. It took 6.

And it tasted NAAAASTY!!! ugh. Thats prob what made me feel woozey was the taste....well it was too strong that way.

I have seen what Cher discribed though...people who abuse it and smoke it all night cause it only lasts a min...personally I don't like it enough to do that.

It makes your blood presure feel a bit off when abusing it from what I hear....don't do that. Just a toke or two once in a blue moon for spriritual reasons.
