Anyone else chomping at the bit to get this game? It's not due to hit the shelves (or torrent sites) for another 3 months or so, but they've got a free creature creator that you can download. Judging from the creator software, this game is going to be PHAT. So, anyone else been playing around with this? Here's my profile, where's yours?

I've been playing around with the "Free" creator thing a bit, but the features are so limited that theres not much for me to do, didn't actually create an account.

Its definitely the kind of thing I'll be all about when it finally does come out.

Charge, as in, the game isn't free? Yeah.

I don't think there is any "extra" charge though, like a monthly fee for the online part. Its basicly just a creature-swap-meet where you get to look at what other people have created and download them into your own game if you want as far as I can tell.

That sounds cool... I can get behind a purchase price... the pay per month games seem a waste to me, some months I don't have time between social functions & composing the noises...NOT TO MENTION...I am trying to get a wedge out of the house budget for the DGN...

Well i have the game, I think i have put in like 10-15 hours so far... I dunno. It is fun but it is like a bunch of minigames to get to the actually game which is the space explorartion stage. IT seems like you can get to that stage a bit TOO quickly (Got there on my first siting after like 5+ hours).

In all it is a fun game but nothing revolutionary. I think I would give it an 8/10
