Ivy13 Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Ivy because it's a hardy plant that can withstand a lot of bad weather and shade and sometimes be the better for it. The number 13 because I'm witchy. Simple and cliche but true to me.
Der Nister Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Der Nister (Yiddish: דער נסתּר; Berdichev, Ukraine in 1884 – 1950 the Soviet Gulag) English translation means The Hidden One. I thought the words looked great together - sounded great and I loved the meaning of it. It was meant for me.
prettystar1sky Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Prettystar1sky:: I came up with this name a looong time ago, sometime in high school, and I've always loved stars. Especically shooting stars--to make a wish. And I think they are so pretty. Then there's just one sky. So pretty star in one sky. Get it? lol
MissKitty Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 My name is Kathleen, Kitty is short for Kathleen. All my life people have called me Kitty, Miss Kitty, Kat, Kitty Kat, Kitty Kate, Kitty Katy, and Katy. I guess things like that stick. lol.

peelingchrome Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 The pretty chrome of the world peeling back to reveal the dirty underside... Yeah, it's supposed to be poetic or something. Go figure.
Hellion Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 The "Metallion" in the last part of my DGN name came from the Judas Priest album Defenders of the Faith"1984,there is a small foot note on the back of the album explaining the Metallion, which it said,"master of all metal"in the last sentence. My love of 70's and 80's metal, and some 90's as well. Listening and playing heavy metal back in the 80's and 90's I figured the name fit well. I just added the "Darque" when I fully decided on renaming my DGN name which used to be just"Crank" awhile back.mainly because of the movie "Crank"2006 came out,not a bad movie, but I did have this name 15 years before the movie.
Fin Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Started as a mispronunciation of my Christian name by my baby sister. I swam on my own before I could walk on my own, & began competitive swimming @ age four. Always loved the sea, & would frequently sneak up on people with the post-swim "fin" mohawk sculpted into my wet (then blond) hair. The love of water & swimming led to skin diving, then to scuba, & ultimately to the shark diving & shark photography passion/obsession for which I am now notorious.
