MyViolentMachine Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Leaetherstrip's Serenade For The Dead is one of my favorite albums. I am curious if anyone knows of any other instrumental albums that are of similar sound and comparable quality.

I have an album or two of Rudy's... But I am am specifically interested in the type of sound that is Serenade that is much different from any of his other ablums. Just that dark classical sound that spans the entire album.

DJ Saint Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Check out: Will - Pearl of a Great Price (Project of Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson from Front Line Assembly) http://www.myspace.com/wordfleshstone In The Nursery - Just about anything by them is awesome, I suggest starting with KODA (some of the material has vocals) http://www.myspace.com/inthenursery Some of the earlier AH Cama Sotz material "LA PROCESION DE LA SANGRE" and "TERRA INFERNALIS" you might find interesting... although lately he's moving into different sonic areas http://www.myspace.com/ahcamasotzbatsandcats In Slaughter Natives http://www.myspace.com/inslaughternativesofficial and there's tons of material on Cold Meat Industry (ie; raison detre) that is worth investigating one or two evenings http://www.myspace.com/coldmeatindustry
