I just got my 2 20.1" widescreens from Dell today.. Very happy, these things are very sharp and have practically no ghosting in games.. If you've got 600 bucks I'd suggest getting one, or if you have enough get 2 like me :)

BTW for those of you who don't know I'm currently building an all new system, I'm going to take pics as I go along and post 'em.. It's going to be a damn nice system.. It better be for 5,000 dollars (total including OS and Reason 3.0, 5.1 surround sound speakers, ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, GeForce 6800 Ultra PCI-Express SLI-Ready, 1gb Corsair PC3200, AMD Athlon 64 3200+ winchester core processor, 2 120mb WD Hard drives, 1 74 gb Western Digital 10k RPM SATA Hard drive, 520w Power Supply, Lian-Li Full tower aluminum case w/window, Lite-On DVD-Rom, ASUS Dual-Layer 16x DVD+/-RW drive, 6 Cold Cathode Flourescent lights, 2 lazer LEDs, 2 light controllers, 8 fans, 1 fan controller, 1 aluminum heat-sink, 2 uv reactive ide cables, 5' of blue EL Wire (illuminating wire), 10' of uv reactive blue wire sleeving, 2 Dell 2005FPW UltraSharp monitors, Logitech MX518 performance mouse, M-Audio Oxygen 8 Midi Controller, various other cables, etc. etc)

Overall, it's gunna be awesome :)

Seems like an understanding bunch here so I will risk exposing my ignorance... what do you mainly do w/a system like that- games? graphic design? communicate w/highly evolved beings in distant star systems? whatever, sounds highly impressive!

Gaming and music, mostly.. What I bought wasn't even top of the line as far as processors go.. The AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 is much better than what I bought, but I didn't feel like spending 850 bucks on a processor.

What I built will be more than enough to run any game that will be on the market for the next 8 months at full graphics settings. That was my goal.. Then I might have to upgrade a video card or something later, and not have to worry about rebuilding another PC for 2 years, and still be able to play the cool games..

I'm a nerd.

oh I also got this nifty Fingerprint Reader made by Microsoft for 60 bucks.. It's a pretty neat gadget.

You can use this to replace any password you have set.. Whether it's for website memberships, e-mail, games, other programs, or even the logon password for your PC.. All you have to do is let it scan your fingerprint and you're in..

Wow, they're only $561.75! That is very tempting... Is your rig put together yet, Soulrev? I must see!
