Friends to the end

Isn’t that what we said?

But your end came too soon

For me to handle...

You were my best friend,

Someone I loved

You were also my family

So sudden...so fast you left me

In this world alone

I'm so lost now...

I know you were in pain

But was that the way to go?

To not fight and take the gun

I'm sitting here crying

Lost and confused

And all I hope is

That this is a dream

And that I'll wake up from it soon.

Away from the natural world

Away from me

I still cant believe

That I will never see that smile

Every again

No more jokes

Or the laughter we shared

You left me alone

So very alone

You'll never get any older

You will always be the same now

I will grow old without you by me

Without you to help me

Because you'll always be the same
