My work gave me a Dell laptop but the one thing that is not good is the battery, does anyone know where a place might be to get one for a little less than what Dell wants, those damn things are not cheap.

Based on my experiences, I own a Dell and it def. has an over heating problem.

Yep, My Mom has burned through two batteries in the 2 years she's had her Dell.

I had a Toshiba with a heating issue, I just kept it on a cooling pad.

My Mac has a pretty fried battery, but it's my own fault ... I keep it plugged up to much.

I usually have my computer plugged in,let alone I shut it down every time I am done using it.I never leave it on all day and night anymore, saves on wear

When you first get it: Full charge: MacBook 5020 mAh

From my MacBook statistics: Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 4338

Remaining Capacity (mAh): 3441

... and I'v only had it off the charger for about 10 minutes.
