Hellion Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 My work gave me a Dell laptop but the one thing that is not good is the battery, does anyone know where a place might be to get one for a little less than what Dell wants, those damn things are not cheap.
Morbid Side Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Based on my experiences, I own a Dell and it def. has an over heating problem.

Hellion Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 Based on my experiences, I own a Dell and it def. has an over heating problem. Mine does not do that which is good, its a 1000 series, thanks for the heads up

Yep, My Mom has burned through two batteries in the 2 years she's had her Dell. I had a Toshiba with a heating issue, I just kept it on a cooling pad. My Mac has a pretty fried battery, but it's my own fault ... I keep it plugged up to much.
Hellion Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 I usually have my computer plugged in,let alone I shut it down every time I am done using it.I never leave it on all day and night anymore, saves on wear
Rayne Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 When you first get it: Full charge: MacBook 5020 mAh From my MacBook statistics: Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 4338 Remaining Capacity (mAh): 3441 ... and I'v only had it off the charger for about 10 minutes.
