There's the debateable existence of mountain lions in michigan. I recently went camping and can assure you there's a healthy population.... scared the shit out of me.

The Michigan dpgman legend dates back the the late 1700's and had a lot of sightings in the Cass city, Caro area. Had a link to a website but the site is gone that had a lot of reports starting aroung the 1780's and up to early 2000's.
