taysteewonderbunny Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 any opinion on winks? You have to have at least two eyes for it, otherwise, it just looks like you can't stay awake.
JaneDead Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 i think i am going to take "flirting" lessons soon. i still don't seem to know how. or i just don't find anyone i want to flirt with. maybe it's both.
Brenda Starrr Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I'm just a natural. I mean, look at how I turned and angry, bitter man who had just gotten divorced from the Antichrist and turned him into a VERY happy man.

brandywine0880 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I think I may have shared this before, but about 4 years ago I was a cashier at a grocery store and I had a massive crush on Tom the dude in the deli. Well I ended up quitting for a new job. I knew Tom had found out I liked him, so I completely avoided him and left without even saying goodbye. So about 6 months later I went in the store for a visit and as I was leaving I ran into Tom, looking just as scrumptious as ever before. I was lucky because I was having one of those awesome chick days where my hurr looked perfect and I was really confident and making eye contact with him and even cracking little jokes. We went to go our separate ways and I'm wanting to just play it cool and peace out gracefully and he's like, "See ya later Brandy" and I totally said this...."See ya tater Tom!" I kind of laughed it off but I was mortified. See ya tater Tom? Damnit my intentions were so good.
hunhee Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 I do that too! I'm kinda shy and quiet when I first meet people...like last Friday at CC. Hell, I've known Gimp for over a month and when he asked me a simple question...I got all flustered and quiet, lol Laaaaame. But, yes. I tend to give them weird expressions because I don't know what else to do. Ahh.. that's where alcohol helps me, if they question me later.. I just tell them I was probably too drunk to remember.. any opinion on winks? Winks make me blush every time.. I don't know why, but it does. You have to have at least two eyes for it, otherwise, it just looks like you can't stay awake. i think i am going to take "flirting" lessons soon. i still don't seem to know how. or i just don't find anyone i want to flirt with. maybe it's both. That's why you should practice by flirting with EVERYONE, not just guys that would "count" that way when you do find that ONE that you wanna flirt with, it comes off as natural and not forced or awkward, and over the top. One of my friends told me that I giggle a lot, when I talk to boys, but it's not just boys I giggle a lot to, I giggle with girls as well. I'm just a giggler. *shrugs* I'm just a natural. I mean, look at how I turned and angry, bitter man who had just gotten divorced from the Antichrist and turned him into a VERY happy man. I hear daily blow jobs/sex helps in this department too.. *runs*

Yes, this has been happening to me too since I've been single again. It is frustrating because sometimes I feel like I have to purposely be a bitch in order for them to back off.

And you DO tell them right? I know for myself, I would rather have someone be brutally honest and spare both of us the time. I know I often end up honest with someone and they usually understand eventually if not at first. I flirt a lot but if its not wanted, I would rather know about it and I can continue to be cool with someone because I respect that aspect.
Brenda Starrr Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I hear daily blow jobs/sex helps in this department too.. *runs* *snort* It is what it is.

Brenda Starrr Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 At least I wasn't drinking when I read it!
TygerLili Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Anyone have any tips on how to "not flirt" naturally? Since about the middle of this summer I've been trying really hard not to be a flirt when I go out because I always seem to have guys getting the wrong impression when I act like my natural, flirty self. But when I do make a conscious effort not to flirt I feel like I am coming across as super shy and quiet, and other people tell me I don't seem like I'm having fun. Can't win.

Aggravating, isn't it? The best rule of thumb with me, is if I haven't attached myself to your face at one point or another (or threatened it), then I don't like you "that way."

I flirt a lot but if its not wanted, I would rather know about it and I can continue to be cool with someone because I respect that aspect. yes i make it clear. more often than not the thing is, at the time, i don't want to date ANYONE and i make that clear to EVERYONE. i say i am just not ready for that. not with anyone. soon... but not yet. that's why i think i get a little annoyed. because i tell them i don't want to be with anyone at all. that means THEM too!
Msterbeau Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 yes i make it clear. more often than not the thing is, at the time, i don't want to date ANYONE and i make that clear to EVERYONE. i say i am just not ready for that. not with anyone. soon... but not yet. that's why i think i get a little annoyed. because i tell them i don't want to be with anyone at all. that means THEM too! JaneDead Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 So... How YOU doin? *Runs* i can't even imagine you being annoyingly pushy with me in that way. you just don't seem like that kind of guy.
