Hellion Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 And I thought only semi's were allowed to have these. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080809/ap_on_...texas_bus_crash
SomeDanGuy Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Yeah, they were used illegally on the wheels involved in steering. And this is exactly why that's not allowed.
taysteewonderbunny Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Yeah, they were used illegally on the wheels involved in steering. And this is exactly why that's not allowed. Making something illegal though doesn't stop people from doing it, it just makes it punishable. Yet, aren't the natural consequences of this act punishment enough? Education is my preference.
SomeDanGuy Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Agreed. The bus owner probably just thought "Wow, this tire is half the price of those other ones." The system broke down somewhere, with immense consequences. :-/
