I was there, i ended up leaving with before last call. I got a little bit more drunk than i wanted and my friend was wasted to, the captain was nice to us in the car before hand.

I saw quiet a few people. It is still going to take me a while to remember names (I so suck at names. I can recall the differences between ryanodine receptors and their location (there are 3 types,) "but who was that again?" is my usual response to remembering names.)

I won't be back to CC until October probably. *Possibly* September but no guarantees.

Best case scenario is 6 days a week at work for September. Most years, I end up on a 7 day work week...which turns into 28 straight days. I don't get out much that month.

Headed to Tampa for 10 days soon too...so...not much CC time left for me in August.

I like a good mix of classics and unique stuff...but I am one who believes that of the standard bands who I love to hear, there really *are* more than 2-3 good songs...yet they only play the same ones every time. The same Ladytron 1, the same Siouxsie 2, the same Depeche 3-4 (though thank god sometimes they switch it up), the same Covenant 3 or so... Sometimes I request standards, but much more often I request less-played songs by the standard groups. But I even prefer when they play the same old things every week to when they play the stuff I can't tell apart from each other. Though part of that is probably just my own lack of knowledge of every single song. I'm learning more and more though. This time I now have a whole huge list of new stuff to dl from Janine's set, since I didn't recognize almost anything she played... My problem is I almost never love things the first time I hear them, so I have to look them up on my own later and get to know them, and then sometimes they become my new favs. I just don't get into most (most! not all though certainly...some things are amazing from first hearing...actually, all of my favs have been) at first hearing, so I didn't really get into Janine's this time, but if she plays the same bands next week, I'll probably like them more. So not a bad reflection on the music, just on me! XD Though I do dislike some things...like almost all Manson. ::hides::

Punk Princess and I randomly decided to go there at the last minute on Saturday.

I had a good time dancing with Fin and Punk Princess and meeting some new people, such as StormKnight and TheOsakaKoneko. You were absolutely gorgeous in that dress! Your outfit was definitely the most unique one there. It was fun seeing everyone else, such as Nightgaunt, Tszura, Tygerlili, Rev.Reverence, Goth Brooks, Crank, and the others.

Punk Princess and I also saw a few famous people, such as 50 Cent and Popeye. Good times.

I thought Rev. and OMG were going to spank me for not having posted in here before now! Sadly, I was wrong. Anyway, I had a great time. It was my first visit to CC since 1996. Not much has changed, really. I'm terrible with names!
