Az_ Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Just another way we are mucking up the planet. Its not just the fertilizers. We also are creating a ton of damage with fish farms. The concentrated debris from these farms are destroying local ecosystems. Fish farms were once thought to be a potential answer to some of the worlds food problems. But the technology to run them simply has not been brought up to snuff in order to limit the pollution that they cause. Of course because we deregulate everything under the sun its difficult to bring these zones of destruction under control for fear of hurting the poor little corporations that run them.
