Its looking to be unofficially official that Joe Biden is the VP pick

Although Obama has not officially announced his selection of Joe Biden for VP the media is pretty much taking the position that its a done deal. Obama is parked in Delaware at this moment. The Secret Service has been dispatched to Biden's residence. All that is left is for Obama to officially state he has selected the man. The official announcement is supposed to go out tonight around 4am via text message to democratic volunteers. A nod to the 3am call ad earlier this year.

It really would be hard pressed to be worse then what Bush and the republican majority did to destroy the country.

Ever heard of a filibuster? The Republicans in the US Senate have employed (or threatened to employ) it over 100 times since losing control of the Senate in late 2006.

the only good I saw coming out of a Congress controlled by Republicans and Bush as President is that in 8 years they will all be hopefully arrested and brought up on charges, which will make the rest of the world partially forgive us for the mess they made of things.

Bush... he has bombed a lot of people who posed no threat to America, and did it with out remorse... (maybe not allies persay... but in Bush's own words, "if you are not with us... you are against us" right?) And what is it that Obama plans on bombing?

And yes the housing market is in large part to the companies being over inflated by the super pro-corp that the Governments policy has inflicted on the lower classes (as well as the Haliburton oil debaucle)

Bush bombed Afghanistan and Iraq. Hrmm.. last I checked... Afghanistan's government of the time (the Tali-ban) financed 9/11 and gave refuge to Al'quida. Iraq is another story... 17 UN resolutions ignored... and there is that whole surrender agreement after the first Gulf war that Iraq ignored... remember that? It's what made our invasion of Iraq legal.

It may have been in waves but the people I know got their message at 3am. And the 3am thing was a reference to the 3am phone call that was playing around for a while there where they were asking who you would want to answer a phone call at three in the morning about the security of America.

Actually, what it was.. was a fuck up. Someone leaked it to the media and the reporters started getting thier stories ready... someone leaked it back to the Obama campaign that that the media knew and was going to spill the beans before Obama was ready.. Obama has promised thoe people on the "short list" that he would let them know who his pick was before anyone else knew.. so his team sent out the text at 4am.

McCain scared me because he is a censor nazi...worse then what Tipper Gore is...he's all about increasing what th parental advisory gets to cover....and many ppl I know in the ent. industry are scared if he gets in.

other the other hand...while I would prefer Obama...I don't like his choice for VP...and that could change things on how I vote. There is a huge chance that Obama will go down in history as the most "hunted" president in America....simply because of his heritage (which is a sad thing to think of...that we can't get past the color of someones skin).
