Halloween Time

I'm wondering what people are doing with their homes for Halloween this year. I'm doing a monster invasion with the multiple body forms in the front yard. Plus I have a lot of those LED lights to work with and a few gargorlye displays.

So what is your decoration plan?

I live in an apartment building, so I really can't really do much in terms of decorating but the front door and my deck. Generally, I just carve pumpkins and put them on tables with lit candles in the evening.

The usual parties and rituals...long walks in graveyards...haunted houses and hayrides...

I'm not sure but I will tell ya that SOMEONE, possibly on DGN I dunno yet, is getting a flaming bag of Gitzie shit on their front porch the evening before.

Hahah... my Dad's favorite trick as a young boy. Oh the memories.

I'm not real big on holiday decorations... but I might do a pumpkin this year even tho I won't be home on Hallow's Eve.

A reminder to those with black cats: keep 'em inside, not just Hallow's Eve & Devil's Night, but for several days preceding... people steal black kitties for reasons ranging from stupid & thoughtless to outright perverse.

Well Devils night is my parents 26th wedding anniversery so I'm going to be celebrating that. As for decorating, I'm going to convince the sister to let me decorate the house and stuff.

I've been doing soon shopping around both on-line and in stores. Here's what I've come up with so far.

-Believe it or not, there are some stores that began selling Halloween decorations in mid Aug: The Doller Stores, Big Lots, Micheal's, T J Max, Marshel and Party City.

-Best deals have been the Doller Stores, Wal-Mart, Micheal (w/ 40% off coupon) and Marshel.

-Some stores begin selling on-line first: Spirit, Target, Meijer, Kmart and Wal-Mart.

-Halloween USA does not have a website this year, yet they have stores opening up Sept 4th.

-Sam's Club and Costco are not the best deal and tend to be very limited.

-It doesn't hurt to check out Value World.

-If you don't mind waiting til next year to display them, shopping after Halloween gets you 50% off or more.

Opinions?
