Halloween L.A. Style

So for the week of Halloween im going to LA (then maybe Vegas) as a vacation of sorts, with my fiance and my bestest friend who is having a hard time since his gf/fiance broke up with him after almost 6 years of being together.

And we're going to hit up some clubs and such, and i was wondering if anyone here who has been there reccomend a place to check out. Especially places during the day, since clubs arent open all day.

Brad(my friend) wants to go to Cub Sinister, has anyone been there?

I know its not a club but check some of the cemeteries they have things going on during halloween. I belive it is forest lawn usually has a day of the dead celebration. Also santa monica blvd. has a big party that goes on around hallowee. Hope this helps some.
