lol mostly i've been involved with nights in other clubs that friends have run, so drinking abounds...

i'd have to rebuild a rather depleted music collection to be able to play again anyways... i lost most of music when my last computer died and internet restrictions/lack of spare cash has resulted in it being a very slow process.

I may oneday take it back up, but i found its generally more fun just listening and dancing than playing.

HIGH-LOW!! I'm DBK, the annoyance of DGN. I'm easy to spot at City Club, I'm the crippled kid sporting blue hair and goggles!!

We will do everything we can to make you feel welcomed!! And if you have any questions, concerns or comments feel free to voice them!!

And voice them i will

its nice to know that goggles are still appreciated over there... they kinda fell out of fashion with the 'cybergoths' over here a while back now. Happens a lot, they're a vain bunch...

I may be able to crack mine out without getting gothsnob elitists glaring at me... lol

I have a set somewhere (that i no longer wear) that i managed to get signed by Gary Newman, that was interesting to say the least, you know your dressed a little weird when someone like him does a double take at your hair...

I had about 14 foot of coloured plastic braided into a strip on the top with funky patterns shaved into the sides, made it impossible to dance without causing considerable damage to the person behind you...

and my scalp... lol

Hi,

I'm Dave, i'm actually no-where near the US atm let alone Detroit... i'm actually in the UK, but i'm moving to somewhere near Lake Orion next summer (i dunno exactly where yet...) to study mechanics at oakland county commmunity college.

So basically i'm trying to find some interesting people before i come over just to make the adjustment period that little bit less painful... lol

anything you want to know just ask :D

Dave

WOW! The U.K.! ^__^

I alwayz wanted to live there........ Where aboutz are you from?!

And welcome! :0)

When you get here you'll most definately have to come to City Club!! ^_^

Detroit iz beautiful, lookz just like Gotham City in the comic books! I bet yur gonna luv it.

Lol, dont say you want to live here 'till you have a for while... lol

i'm originally from Essex (not too far from London) but i've been in Cardiff for quite a while now...

i do quite like the Detroit area, i haven't seen much of it, but i've been through bits of the city a couple of times.

@ mr Head Wreck, Did you ever go in Inquisition when it was still running? i know some guys used to come down from your end every now and again...

Dave

nah. i keep clear of Cardiff normally.

to many ex's

the zone used to be my haunt. it was a even dirtier version of city club that was upstairs of the local knocking shop before they closed both down to build a posh hotel

Posted

lol, the riverbank hotel you mean? before my time i think... lol

theres no scene left in Cardiff anymore anyway... Inquisition was the last bastion of goth as it were...

and thats dead and buried in a pile of infighting a bitchyness...

either way, i think it will be quite nice to dance to EBM at a proper volume when i come over... haven't done that in a while...

I haven't been across the pond in...well, let's not say how long.

Fun place!

Welcome to Detroit!
