IMO everyone here should just try to get along, yes we all have our faults, and sometimes we wont or cant admit them.yes even I am not perfect and are no better than anyone elsehere. The one thing I think we should basically worry about is what the government is doing to us,like our rights and freedoms. It would be really cool if everyone who is on here could just get along, yes we all have our differences, and sometimes those differences can cause some issues here. hopefully since this is our goth internet community, and most of us here know each other personalymaybe hopefully someday we can all get along, yes it is not easy since there will be some unfortunate drama,it would be an awesome change of pace.Just remember IMO keep an eye on what the system is doing to us,instead of peddy bs between any DGN members here.we are all in the same boat, its time we should all work together, peace out, btw,if you cannot reply with a positive constructive reply then please do no reply at all

i completely agree....I think treating the people on this board...despite past disputes as brothers and sisters, with respect and honor, is more important....honestly I know what the gov is doing, and sometimes that CAUSES these disputes(with me personally)....and I figure, why argue and bicker when we can work together????

shit, we are all kindred...though we all may be different and come from different walks of life....i have laid down my weapons since the cigarette thread, and have ignored antagonizing posts and threats....since....its not worth it.

I've noticed there are conflicts between people on here and conflicts that people have who used to be on here. I don't know all the drama going on around here, but I try to get along with everyone. I hate asshole-like behavior and corrupt institutions, but I don't have the energy to waste hating people.

I feel this thread came at a good time. Anytime you speak on Politics, Religion and or Abortion you'll get heated debates of course. These are topics that people feel to their core and will defend their stance on their belief system ad infinitum. Though I feel if an individual cannot articulate themselves in a manner that isn't without insults, free of childish remarks and plain rudeness, you probably have no right posting in the topic in the first place.

Some people just love to debate which, as long as Dgn rules of conduct are obeyed, it's open for debating all day long. It's fine to disagree but it's best to do so with diplomacy and tact. It's not too difficult to see who is going to react in what manner to certain topics, people tend to become quite predictable in their behaviors over time.

I enjoy DGN and personally haven't had too many issues with many people on here. If I do something uncalled for, I am not bothered if I have to apologize in order to correct the mistake or make amends. I don't feel I need to be right all of the time. I think DGN is one of the, if not the most friendliest forums out there, especially in the Gothic genre.

When I mention that to people it is almost as if that right there turns them off, almost as if it's "dramatic free", it's not exciting enough for them. Those are the people who we probably wouldn't want here any way. Also, some people need drama to feel alive, unfortunately. They cannot be satisfied unless there is some type of problem going on with another individual.

Many things on the Internet are also taken in the wrong manner because we are only communicating in text and there is no inflection at all, it's probably the worst part about trying to communicate on the Internet. I do agree, that there are many other things we need to focus on in this society than petty disagreements and plain outright shit-disturbing on the Internet.
