ok that makes number 2 this yr, 3 in 2 yrs

my friends die now not just kill themselves

they get sick and die of natural causes

gets me and mom talkin...

Most of her childhood friends are gone

last winter a lady from my parents church died, and i cried whenever i thought about it, and i barely knew her, i cant imagine how i would be if one of my FRIENDS died....

...its just...rather unsettling...he got colon cancer 2 yrs ago

he was my age

and i have severe colon problems too

oh and he was sooo attractive and full of life before, he had this thick head of curly dark hair...lost it because of treatment...lost all his muscle too

Fuckk...and this thread makes me sad knowing that I'm 23 now and it's only going to get worse...

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, HH. It's been 5 years since I lost a friend, and crush actually , and it was hard for awhile. Getting older really doesn't sound like fun, just try to take care of yourself the best you can. I try to take care of myself now so hopefully I don't have to worry as much when I get there myself. At least your friend isn't in pain and it's finally done with, a lot of the painful process to start is before the person dies, having to watch their health fail, and when they're gone sometimes it's almost a slight sense of relief knowing they're somewhere else and hopefully not suffering anymore.

yeah... that's the one part of aging I'm really not looking forward to... watching everyone you share a past with pass on one by one. Sigh.

I just found out that an old friend of mine from New Orleans killed himself yesterday. He was only 31.

I found out while I was in Tokyo that one of my best friends in college died of a heart problem while drumming this summer. :-(

Our friend's dad just died of a heart attack.

That will be the third saddest funeral we've been to in the last month.

The second saddest being our 41 year old friend who committed suicide.

The saddest being a five month old baby.
