Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Uh, I'll buy. I would rock the shit out of a corset. If I had the boobs. Aw Hell, I'd still rock the shit out of a corset.
Senay Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Nienna, where in the heck can I get steel boning?? I made a corset but it has some issues that I think would be solved with steel. :grin
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 I would just love to know how to make them. If not, I'll buy them. I don't care.

DarkenedCharm Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Thank you. Go back to that post. I was editing as you were commenting.
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Maybe a pocket lint corset would be cool?
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Can someone teach me how to make pocket lint into a sexy corset fabric? Also, will belly button lint work?
DarkenedCharm Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Can someone teach me how to make pocket lint into a sexy corset fabric? Also, will belly button lint work? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Any lint will work. Makes the corset a tad on the thin side and rahter see-through. Is that OK? :grin
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Steel boning would show through, though. I swear, I'm getting that first one that I posted. I don't care what I have to do. Oh, wait....I can pay for it myself because I have a temp job!!
Nienna Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Nienna, where in the heck can I get steel boning?? I made a corset but it has some issues that I think would be solved with steel. :grin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The best site I've found is Corset Supplies. They have great prices and alot of useful items.
Nienna Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Your linky isn't showing! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :confused All better now... :confused
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Thanks for fixing that, Nienna! As far as making my own, I'm not so sure that I can do it. This sucks.
SomeDanGuy Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 I was just being a smartass with the thread title before, but it just now sunk in that these pieces of clothing cost FOUR HUNDRED dollars. My mind is blown. Awesome though they are, that is just....soooo much money! You're playing a dangerous game tempting yourself with all this online shopping!
Brenda Starrr Posted May 11, 2005 Author Posted May 11, 2005 It's just cruel. But I think I might splurge on the 1st one
SomeDanGuy Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 The first one is my favorite too. But damn...you'd better take gooood care of that thing if you buy it. I hope it lasts for several generations or something
Brenda Starrr Posted May 11, 2005 Author Posted May 11, 2005 No lie. If someone spills stuff on it when I come to MI, I might just cry
SomeDanGuy Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 Cry? You should turn into a blood-craving berserker!

VERY steep. I have leather ones that are wonderful that cost half as much. I also know where to get awesome cloth ones for around $300 max... I wouldn't pay $400 unless it's made for your body on your body. (Not just off your measurements.)
Scary Guy Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 http://www.fabric8.com/finery/product.f8ml?PID=LB0102 Oooh and the dress from Legend I'd put that right up there with those.
