phee Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 The new Modulate album on metropolis: Detonation
wilhelm k Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 specifically the track "no good", which is a prodigy cover.
DJ Saint Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Yes, excellent stuff. The whole CD is good too.
Darus313 Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 good track..... "No Good" i like the track before it... -> Hard and Dirty <- yes all in all good album... D
wilhelm k Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 i guess im the minority here, i thought the prodigy cover was horrible. the album is sort of ok, drop is the best track imo. i dunno, maybe im just bored, but it seems like most of the music coming out is uninspired filler. oh well, at the least the new ohgr album is coming soon.

wilhelm k Posted September 28, 2008 Author Posted September 28, 2008 yeah... and it tastes like chicken to...! the nerve...! D please, educate me. how is the new modulate album even remotely innovative? better yet, explain any element of production on the album that has not been done to death already. regardless, im sure the lp will sell well & get lots of club play. hell im sure i will end up playing tracks off it, especially if requested. bottomline, is it decent stompy ebm,etc.... sure. anything beyond that falls under... next.

It is not innovative - Hence y i said it tastes like chicken - (never heard of the expressing "tastes like chicken" When trying to describe the flavor of meat the listener has never experienced - replace meat with music...) better yet, explain any element of production on the album that has not been done to death already. regardless, im sure the lp will sell well & get lots of club play. It's finger licking good.... yeap .. same old stuff.. not going to deny that... same old production structuce - but guess what - it will probly fill the dancefloor - don't know about detroit dancefloors - but some where out there it is going to fill the dancefloors - i take it you don't like chicken... or the taste of chicken - guess what - everyone has their own tastes (read the responses back on this thread) - i take it you are more of a tufu kinda guy or had a bad experience with chicken(did not get wishbone or something)? hell im sure i will end up playing tracks off it, especially if requested. bottomline, is it decent stompy ebm,etc.... sure. anything beyond that falls under... next. Yeap.. this will mos def be F.F really fast in Detroit.... or not be played much or have its 15minutes of fame... very short lived... Yeap i like the new album - like their first album - i guess i am like the rest of the sheep - headin to the dancefloor..... D -// bbbaaaaaaaaaahhh bahhhhhhhhaaaaaah
