GOP lawmakers sue to stop Palin investigation

How is this partisan when two-thirds of the commision that voted to proceed with it are Republican? Someone explain that to me? This is a delaying tactic so the information is not available before it's time to vote.

"The Legislative Council, made up of four Democrats and eight Republican, voted unanimously to investigate the circumstances of Monegan’s dismissal."

They are worried about their own asses mostly. Personally I'm not exactly sure why they are investigating anything since the guy she supposably "intimidated" said Palin did nothing of the kind.

Its also just another straw for the Democrats to grasp at as they futily try to destroy Sarah Palin.

I have been reading abou this a bit... a great deal actually. What was agreed to and what is being done are two different things... by everyone. if you look, you can read transcripts of every phone call. Read interviews with everyone involved.

From what I have read... there was no objection to the incestigation.. then she was named... and some Dems on the investigation panel decided to make names for themselves by blowing it up. Mole Hill comes to mind. Thats when objections to the investigation started.

That article doesn't actually say anything. I mean, there are a lot of words, but nothing of consequence unless somehow "what ifs" are now considered evidence.

I do find it funny that in following linked stories the bias comes out... They accuse her of using a yahoo account for gubernatorial business and then admit that someone else sent an email to her yahoo account and her aid sent one back saying that it was the wrong account for that type of correspondence.

Intimidation isn't limited to threats...you can make plenty of veiled comments and have them listed as intimidation...and thats what Palin and her administration did.

No one needs to destroy Palin. She's just not ready to be commander in chief.

Good thing she's on the ticket's bottom.

Just because you feel intimidated does not mean anyone was actually intimidating you.

peer pressure is just as intimidating as threats, if not more-so...because you know that there is a chance it can be twisted in court as "thats not what I ment"...fact is..Palin admitted to her staff pressuring him...thought she claims not to have known about it.

But the guy says she didn't do anything, you'd think that if he's saying nothing happend that we should trust that.

and the emails that have been made public that show him to be extremely insubordinate.
