Abusive couple: Girl = Trashy Ripped Dress, Black Eye, Apron, etc... Guy = Wifebeater or bad suit, slicked back hair, booze of some sort, etc... (good one if on a budget)

Captain Kirk and Green Chick.... self explanitory.

(Another cheap one) Dictator and Sourpuss: Guy = normal clothing but is hanging a potatoe on a string from his belt that hangs around his boy bits (Dick - Tater) Girl = Same thing but a lemon instead.

(I did this one with my daughter) The salem witch trials: Guy = a judge, Girl = A witch....

(an easy one) McCain and Palin.... (Moose stuff, and bags of money can be part of the costumes.... and cowboy hats since they are such "Mavricks")

... I am sure I can thing of more... given time....

Something of the same style as the girl in the video for Combichrist "Deathbed" is my top choice, i.e. industrial gypsy goth adapted for a desert climate with a mask. Last year I spooked the children by dressing up in huge stompy boots, covered myself from head to toe and wore a gas mask claiming it was a "gothic biohazard suit".

A Keith Howarth costume would rock.

I'm still thinking the "trashed Courtney Love" disguise will be a good costume for myself, this year. All I would need to do is wear a lot more make up and sleep in it the night before, add some phony chin hair, drink a few more pitchers at the bar than usual, and let a boob flop out every so often, and I think I could pull it off.

Actually, my totally awesome friend, Timata, and his gf were going to dress up as the other two henchmen. Originally we were going to do this for an anime con, and we may still. We may not even have it done by Halloween so anime con it would be. It was his idea to begin with, because I could pull off being Dr. Girlfriend, just gotta try to lose a few more lbs before Halloween comes through and it would work.
