Depends on how much construction time I have. I have two different outfits in mind that I want to make...one involves an awful lot of sewing, and the other involves woodcraft and light mechanics, which I've never done, so may be impossible...but yet it still sounds more likely than the first, given how busy I always am lately. I'm also making a Halloween skirt which would be done by now if it wasn't for going to the Wings game Wednesday and my machine breaking down. D: Plus I have that maid costume I wore to City last week, and my nurse outfit I wore a few weeks ago...but since I've already worn both of those lately, I want something new. But depending on how many Halloween events I attend they may get pulled out.

What will you be for Halloween?

I'm going to try and figure out how to scrap up the money to make a good Dread Pirate Roberts costume. I might end up being the El-Cheapo Pirate Roberts I'm broke, but I'm going to try. Leather Gauntlets, Pirate Shirt, Boots, Face mask, pants, sword that looks remotely like the one in the movie (will have to be cheapo) that fit properly... have nothing, starting from scratch.

This type of costume is usually against my belief system about Halloween (that is being something "not scary" is counter to the holiday or at least kinda... blah.) But, being a good convert to Pastafarianism as well as being able to say that well.. the dread pirate Roberts is DEAD, I'll let myself slide. Pretty excited about this actually.

i think i would die...then get back up and be like gimme a few weeks to get the nid costume ready...i am thinkin a warrior would be pretty awesome...hmm the planing begins....

Here's some ideas...

Always wanted to do the geisha thing... but all my kimono and gear cost way too much to wear to Hallowicked & risk Faygo drenching. Maybe I'll do a sexy geisha thing (scanty lingerie under partially open kimono) for the Cap City October party, only have to worry about, um, body fluids there! Now, if only I can figure out how to do a decent obi tie by then...

If you'll all indulge me for a moment...

Guy's idea was that we wear the babies in Baby Bjorns, which are those front side baby carriers, and cover them in fake blood and gore and make it look like they are popping out of us, like from the movie Alien.

All the boys think this is terribly clever.

I hate it.

There is something....disturbing about putting fake blood on a baby. And seeing as how these two ALREADY popped out of me, the novelty of a costume recreating the event is kinda lost on me.

Guess I'm really disturbed 'cos I absolutely LOVE that. I can see your point, tho, AFA the "been there, done that" aspect.

As for me I'm doing a slightly betterl-planned version of my Wicked Kitty rig from last year. Rhumba panties, tail, ears, collar w/bell, jeweled whiskers... nothing special but I like it and the ears are kind of my trademark.

Whenever I see that dress I remember a couple of my friends in Japan almost buying it in different colors to wear to an event at a little fetish lingerie shop, but I convinced them not to since they had it marked up to almost $200. XD hahaha Oh Japan...
