LizZyBeaR420 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 38 YEARS AGO TO THIS VERY DAY THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER OF ALL TIME PASSED AWAY... BUT his music and spirit STILL lives on and he STILL kicks major muthafuckin ass! So everyone go listen to a Jimi Hendrix song RIGHT NOW(and smoke some weed if you got any)! And remember him because he was TRULY somthing special and the world would probably be a different place if he had stuck around, same goes with Jim Morrison, Janis, Sid, Kurt, 2pac, ETC ETC............. R.I.P. JIMI HENDRIX

Guest GodfallenPromos Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 "38 YEARS AGO TO THIS VERY DAY THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER OF ALL TIME PASSED AWAY" Fuck Hendrix...he NEVER was the greatest. Man was a drug induced fiddler. Jimmy Page...Zakk Wylde....Slash...those guys are GREAT guitarist....and Page alone beats out Hendrix by a mile...

pomba gira Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 God is a barbiturate overdose.... if that is indeed what took him... Stupid-ass incompetent ambulance drivers is what carried him off... wasn't for that he most likely would've been fine. Don't listen to much Hendrix these days... but when I do I'm instantly transported back to my bedroom on Longfellow in Detroit, at age 15 or thereabouts... thinking I should maybe stay alive after all 'cos then maybe someday I could get the fuck out of Detroit and meet people like him. Rock on forever, older brother!
