Paper Hearts Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 I don't try to fix my hair just to go around in the daytime, ideally i don't even fuck with it at all. I'm a 'free-range' motherfucker, yeah?. Anyway, I was walking around like that on Saturday, and i mean my ass was torn up, i had on wrinkled pants and shirt i wore to the pub the night before and smelled like whiskey. There were a couple of freaks standing on the side walk out in front of the store i was going into who stopped me to hand me some pamphlet they had-i was like, 'what is it?'. The one guy goes "it's for a church, they give out free food and shelter". I was stunned. Never before had i been so complimented, i felt absolutely hep.
Brenda Starrr Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 That's so messed up, PH! If there's one thing that really pisses me off, it's people who judge the book by the cover. Just because you look a certain way and wear your hair in a certain style doesn't warrant that kind of shit. I get it all the time because of my constantly changing haircolor and my tattoos. It's just wrong.
Head Wreck Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 perhaps he wasnt calling you homeless. directly lot of folks here hand out stuff hoping it may be passed on to someone who needs it in another part of town. giving the distributor more range as per say. but i would have asked his intentions. and then given him a tirade of abuse and a "not everone who's woken up after a party is homeless" speach.
Nerdcore Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 I would dhave given it right back and said "you need it more than me" strange indeed :blink
Paper Hearts Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Ah, I didn't think of that...maybe i just looked like i knew a lot of homeless people... -But no, in a way, i dug it because that's really the cool thing recently-look at all the clothes in the desiegner shops, everything looks raggedy and worn...and the makeup on models nowadays-everyone looks like a homeless, junkie, corpse. -So I wasn't that offended...

Troy Spiral (13) Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 Sounds like he was trying to be helpful , not insulting. No?
TomCat Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 "You hippie tree huggers all make me queasy" was said to me once on an A2 street corner. Now, if you know me, and how I look, this should be funny. I couldn't look more corporate without my Brooks Brothers suit coming into play.
