i think what she's getting at is that it's stupid to get into the "science" of something that is emotionally based, and therefore beyond scientific "proof". not seeing the forest for the trees, as it were.

Well, as long as their is more than one than one type of person... you are going to keep hearing it for the rest of your life.

Talking about things, getting them out in the open.. is how people learn about things and figure out what needs to be done to "fix" social ills.

I am the same way in reverse (sorta) with women i can take them or leave them but not because of abandonment issues i was closer to my mom but i just dont have in love feelings for women. Now men thats a different story..

neither was there for me a lot of the time, my dad was gone a lot but they were both absent mentally via drinking...

honestly....I don't know....I couldn't say....it's an interesting thought, but I am gonna have to lean towards no, simply for the fact that I never really spent alot of time with my father....he drove a semi for a living, so he was gone all week..I would see him two days out of the week....but mom was always there during that...so the female connection is stronger.

but....am I 100% sure of that the same thing would not happen...no..I am not...

yes, you did, you called phee an asshole. when i see immature attitudes, i will treat them as such. the knock it off was directly related to the asshole comment. and you wouldn't have had the opportunity to think my comments were inappropriate if you hadn't resorted to name calling. refrain from that, and i'll refrain from mine - it's pretty simple...
