I just picked up Jim Butcher's latest book, "Backup." Though it's not part of the "Dresden Files" series, it's related to it. It's from Harry's brother Thomas's point of view.

Also, FYI, there's a "Dresden Files" graphic novel that's now available as well. It's called 'Welcome to the Jungle."

"Turn Coat," the latest book in the "Dresden Files" series will be released on April 7, 2009. This will be book #11 in the series!

Yeah, I know that none of you care, but I find posting in this thread to be very self-satisfying.

Actually, now that the last one finally hit paperback, I'm likely getting that one.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
