Usually brown, green and black camo.

Hunter Orange is worn during rifle season.

The only time Bow hunters are required to wear Hunter Orange is if they are Bow Hunting during rifle season or the Youth season.

If you hike where others hunt, I'd recommend orange, neon yellow or something really bright.

SpammerOvTheGods has a good point. There ARE a lot of half-drunk, hung-over, poorly-sighted, or inexperienced goobers running around in the woods this time of year. It's best to play it safe. "Buck Fever" is a reality-- lots of idjits will release at the broad side of anything remotely deer-coloured that moves.

I always wear my orange fisherman's hat when I'm out there, no matter what hunting season it is.
