Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Usually brown, green and black camo. Hunter Orange is worn during rifle season. The only time Bow hunters are required to wear Hunter Orange is if they are Bow Hunting during rifle season or the Youth season.

Homicidalheathen Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 ...your kidding...they almost talked me into doing somethiong illegal..AGAIN??? Those Bastards!
Simon Bar Sinister Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 If you hike where others hunt, I'd recommend orange, neon yellow or something really bright.
jynxxxedangel Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 SpammerOvTheGods has a good point. There ARE a lot of half-drunk, hung-over, poorly-sighted, or inexperienced goobers running around in the woods this time of year. It's best to play it safe. "Buck Fever" is a reality-- lots of idjits will release at the broad side of anything remotely deer-coloured that moves. I always wear my orange fisherman's hat when I'm out there, no matter what hunting season it is.
