The only time I've played any songs on repeat was when i was either learning them to play onstage or to teach them to one of my guitar students.

It drives me nuts and I end up not liking the song(s) for a while.

I seem to go through phases by certain bands.

In recent memory:

VNV Nation - Electronaut, Lightwave, Genesis, Darkangel, Epicenter

Funker Vogt - City of Darkness, My Fortune, Hostile Waters

Assemblage 23 - I am the Rain, Binary

Sometimes it's just individual songs:

That's funny, I've been listening to the Hair soundtrack for the past few days (title song is much better than the Cowsills version IMHO). Big part of my kid-hood.

Evanescence - The Only One.

The middle part is my favorite.

Don't look down,

Don't look into the eyes of the world beneath you.

Don't look down, you'll fall down,

You'll become their sacrifice.

All Summer Long - Kid Rock

That is my song right now!!!

And we were trying different things

We were smoking funny things

Making love out by the lake to our favorite song

Sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow

Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
