Homicidalheathen Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 http://www.karisable.com/crserial.htm According to an FBI Behavioral Unit study 85% of the world's serial killers are in America. At any given time 20 - 50 unidentified active serial killers are at work continually changing their targets and methods.
hunhee Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 We are fed the american bullshit since the day we are born, and we are set up to be disappointed, mix in a small amount of boredom, and an insane amount of intelligence, and voila!!! you have serial killer soup.
Homicidalheathen Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 anyone say...'soup'? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Chase He was nicknamed "The Vampire of Sacramento" because he drank his victims' blood and cannibalized their remains. He did this as part of a delusion that he needed to prevent Nazis from turning his blood into powder via poison they had planted beneath his soap dish
jynxxxedangel Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 "Pussyface! Pussyface! Pussyface!" Gotta love John Waters flicks.. Oddly enough in real life, there are very few female serial killers in history-- given the staggering amount of those who are male.

Perhaps it's because we're more meticulous, so it's harder to catch us.. and we don't do it to get caught or even for the fame.. err them..

My soup rules...it has the alphabet in it and it spells REDRUM! Then I face stab! Stab, stabbity, STAB! w00000! The soup...it is almighty...and tells me things.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I think, it boils down to classification. There are many killings through out the world that would fit the definition of serial killer if they were actually compared to it.
Rev.Reverence Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 ...we're #1! ...be it eco-destruction...or homicide...
phee Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Russia during the cold war would not admit it even has serial killers... do you think China would admit that kind of thing? Also think about that figure.... America has a very large population by comparision.... I mean, wouldn't it be scary if 85% of the worlds serial killers lived in Fiji?

It's easier to move hundreds (if not thousands) of miles away to start a new life....and take others among the unsuspecting.

There are many killings through out the world that would fit the definition of serial killer if they were actually compared to it. I think youre right. Also, we have a more advanced law enforcement organisation, and an obsession with psychology. For all anyone knows, there could have been legions of serial killers in third world countries that have never been found out.
jynxxxedangel Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Well...it would not help the tourist trade... "Bula vinaka, beachside!" *sound of chainsaws and large cauldrons boiling in the background*  target="_blank Man, you guys sure make hilarious mental pictures pop into my head sometimes..!!!
