Auralgasms presents Atmosphere...a night of Dreampop, Britpop, Triphop, Shoegaze, Electronica with a CD release party for The Cure - 4:13 Dream

It all happens in a wonderful lounge environment with fantastic cocktails and friendly waitstaff where you can soak in the Blissful vibes and actually be able to hold a conversation.

This is not your typical club night - expect to hear music from the likes of: Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Portishead, Lamb, The Cure, Smiths, Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, Wolfsheim, I Am X, New Order, Garbage, Ride, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, Hooverphonic and Massive Attack.

Making the night extra special, we present the CD release party for the long awaited new CD from The Cure - 4:13 Dream with Happy Hour from 9-10PM.

Listen to the new disc and be one of the first 25 to visit the DJ booth and see Zumby, Mikeylove or teletran.one to collect your special tokens to be redeemed for FREE drinks!

Oh yeah, duh, I glanced at my calendar and saw T and I don't know, had a brain fart or something. No difference though between Tuesday and Thursday, except I guess that this way I only have to suffer through 1 day of work on no sleep before the weekend. But it's actually worse in a way because if it were Tuesday, I could come home from work Wednesday and crash until Thursday morning for like 12 hours, but this way, Friday after work I just have to deal with the still being tired and get dressed and go party, being it's pre-pre-Halloween. ^^ But it will not stop me. I will almost assuredly still be there. My coworkers will just have to deal with me trailing off mid-translation as I fall asleep during meetings and such the next day! XD

This event is tomorrow - Thu Oct 23!

We got in a huge shipment of Cure CD singles and there will be plenty to pass out. Also got a handful of full length copies that we will do drawings for.

Don't forget we will play the CURE cd from 9-10PM (before we get on with the our regular set) and the frist 25 to come see us get Free drink tokens!!!

Absolutely amazing event - very fun! Low-key and laid-back, but great music and good times! And I came away with no fewer than 6 new free cds! And 2 posters! Epic!

It was nice meeting you guys as well. Thank you for putting this event on and thank you for all of the cd's, drink tickets, & posters. I am especially grateful for the new Cure cd!!!! Everyone was so friendly. Proof is an awesome lounge and the martinis were delicious. I checked out your online radio station today and I love it! I will be listening to it on a regular basis from now on. It was so cool seeing Osakakoneko, Bean Water, and The Eternal there! I had a great time and look forward to your next event!
