n0Mad Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I know there's been more talk about Obama, McCain, and Palin than I care to talk about but I listened to this clip today and just couldn't take it and thought this deserved its own thread. If you support a candidate, great. Even if I don't agree with your choice, if you can back up your decision with logic and reasoning then I will fully support your choice even if I choose differently. But my god people, at least have a clue! Uninformed voting is worse than not even voting at all. I could rant, but I'll just post the link to the sound clip. It's from Howard Stern's radio show. I can't stand Howard Stern personally, but this was a great segment. www.bpmdeejays.com/upload/hs_sal_in_Harlem_100108.mp3
peelingchrome Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 +1 Ignorance is what's brought this country to it's current state, imo. It sounds like it's just going to continue until it implodes on it's own lack of logic and knowledge.
TitsMcGee Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 OMFG although I'm quite amused by that I am also disgusted. People need to read up on the canidates before voting, for all our sakes.
Rev.Reverence Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 G...RRRRR...people are borderline retards...I'ld say they were retards...but I do not wish to insult the retards.
Guest greyhalo Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 There are all sorts of basic voting guides that break down what candidates support and wish to achieve. I doesn't take much to pick one up and read it. Also, the debates are not difficult to follow. So, yes, I wish people would do the minimum to educate themselves on issues.
Destroit Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 My Boshy called the thing about Obama the second he started to run, saying that women would support Hillary just because she's a woman and black people would support Obama sheerly because he's colored. Those sorts of people need to just...disappear imo .
n0Mad Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 "HE'S AN ARAB!" Yeah, he's only ... what? 7% or so black and about 40% or more Arabic? I can't remember his racial breakdown but I do know he's mostly Arabic, then some other stuff, and very little black.
Destroit Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 "HE'S AN ARAB!" That's not what most African Americans think.
n0Mad Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Here's a fun little quiz from the same site I got the audio link from. The poster recommends giving this quiz to everyone before they are allowed to vote. Where is the right to vote guaranteed in the Constitution? 1. Article I 2. Article III 3. The Tenth Amendment 4. There is no right to vote
Shade Everdark Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Yeah, he's only ... what? 7% or so black and about 40% or more Arabic? I can't remember his racial breakdown but I do know he's mostly Arabic, then some other stuff, and very little black. And the fact that the person I'm quoting is basing her distrust of him, and her vote, on his ethnicity? I'd say that's a shining example of stupidity, thanks.

peelingchrome Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Stupid people breed too. In large numbers. Has anyone else seen Idiocracy?
