...why do I have to keep reading the Japanese language versions of sites when I speak English? Yeah, I know why it happens, save the technical discussion for someone who cares. The fact is, there should be a menu in a variety of languages that allows you to set the language of the site if it"s something different then the one local to your IP address. If there is a choice, it's usually in the local language and *tada* I can't read it. Fuckers.

Can you bring me back an andon bakama from Japan?

See? I's smarter than teh intarwebs. I used Romaji instead of typing 行灯袴.

I have gone to some Japanese sites through a Google translation. I am looking at technical sites for things like "how does this part keep my engine from blowing up in my face?"

Two words: Incredibly Painful.

Not only do I believe they mistranslate a bit, but the syntax is painful to read. There needs to be a bit more work on the fuzzy logic of translation algorithms.

Part of the problem is the way that Japanese structure their sentences is backwards from English.

As long as the verb is last, it doesn't really matter the rest of the order of the words.

or

verb as long last to be, no matter really it does rest of words ordered in
