Head Wreck Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 *yawn* yet another burton film with XYZ.....
DJ Nocker Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 This has been known since before sweeny todd came out... Also its going to be exactly like all his other movies, same cast, same camera angles, same lighting, same music.... He is really starting to get old.

Maybe not an exotic treat, but at least you know what to expect.
Oh_My_Goth Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Hmmm, this could be good..... I am a Johnny Depp fan, so I will defiantly be seeing this flick.....
DJ Nocker Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Meh..... sometimes, the familiar is ok. Maybe not an exotic treat, but at least you know what to expect. It gets old after a bit, especially since Depp doesnt deserve the rabid fan base he has. One of Burtons best movies in a while was "Big Fish" becuase it was something different for him, and even though Helena was in it, Depp wasnt, which was nice.

It appeals to every aspect of my sense of beauty, AND has several of my favorite actors. What's not to love??

What's not to love?? To each there own I suppose... I used to love Tim Butron when I was in High School but now it just seems like im watching the same movie over and over regardless the title.
Guest Megalicious Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 *yawn* yet another burton film with XYZ..... To each there own I suppose... I used to love Tim Butron when I was in High School but now it just seems like im watching the same movie over and over regardless the title. I couldn't have said it better myself. I have moved on to films with a little more Depth, not Depp. Regardless if they are good or not, I get EXTREMELY bored in the first 5 minuets, it worked when it was new to me, hell it even worked when it was "old" to me. I hate to see Burton RUIN it, along with Charlie and the Chocolate factory, some things should be left ALONE. But to each their own, as Sluagh said.

phee Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I always think Tim Burton does better when he is doing stuff that is not so Tim Burtony.... Like Big Fish I really liked that one.... But I am kind of burned out on Mr. Burton these days when he is doing his usual stuff

Actually, I don't watch much of anything. Hubby has wanted cable forever and we just now got it like a month ago. I've watched some of the History, Sci-Fi, and Science channels a bit since we've gotten it but before then I hadn't watched TV since about 1994 *shrug* I have watched some DVDs and movies though.
IsleofRhodesEnt Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Burton shouldn't be allowed to touch Alice in Wonderland..he is gonna ruin it like he did Willy Wonka... However...Del Toro + Alice in Wonderland = WIN!!!!!
