Why is it so hard?

I don't get it. Maybe I'm just blind. Why do you think it's so damned hard for some of you to get/keep dates? What makes you think that there isn't anyone out there who will put up with you or whatever? I think that all of you are wonderful, funny, kind people. If I were single, I'd hope that some of you noticed that I even existed! I just don't get it, and hope that you're willing to enlighten me.

I'm too nice, outta shape, broke, and caring to be taken seriously. I'm not nearly enough of a project, apparently. A woman wants a man that they can fix,shape, mold, change. I don't need any of that, so I guess I'm useless to them. I don't create drama or problems, I guess I'm too boring.

But I'm told that I'm really funny, genial, & good at trivia games, so I get pigeonholed as "friend material."

To be honest, since 1996, I haven't had any troubles getting dates or keeping girlfriends. My problem is I'm selective, too put it nice. Always have been and just might always be that way. If I get married, I don't want it too end in six years or less so I am being cautious and selective. Maybe a bad combo but it is the way it is.

Some of us like "too nice", don't mind "outta shape", don't actually care about "broke", and wouldn't settle for less than "caring". Not all of us want to change or mold a man. Most of don't enjoy drama.

Personally, I love funny, and trivia games. yeah, you make a great friend, but I think you'd make a great lover for someone as well.

i think it is because you people go for the WRONG people. you go for someone you are attracted to for all the wrong reasons maybe? you need to find someone who is real, who will want you for who you are AND what you are NOT if that makes sense
