Homicidalheathen Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 i dont understand this 'legal limit' thingy for drinking. ok if your drinking and driving should it matter HOW DRUNK you are? is buzzed ok? wtf? sooo its ok to be buzzed, just not totally smashed? and then, thus...is it ok to be totally smashed ANYWHERE? like, if your in a bar or at home, is there still a legal limit your not suppose to pass? even if you dont plan on going anywhere? i saw a gadget awhile back, a store selling breathalizers so you can 'check' and see if your too buzzed to be drinking?
SaGa Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 i dont understand this 'legal limit' thingy for drinking. ok if your drinking and driving should it matter HOW DRUNK you are? is buzzed ok? wtf? sooo its ok to be buzzed, just not totally smashed? and then, thus...is it ok to be totally smashed ANYWHERE? like, if your in a bar or at home, is there still a legal limit your not suppose to pass? even if you dont plan on going anywhere? i saw a gadget awhile back, a store selling breathalizers so you can 'check' and see if your too buzzed to be drinking? probly to not mess up due to mouth wash, or breathing fumes from somewhere that gives you a slight blood level. it gives a cap on time of soberness, bye setting a physical number. this is also to protect you to, so no cop can tell you your acting drunk. when you answer yes that you had some drinks that night. it takes out human interpretation and gives hard evidence. and of course strict threshholds to use that evidence on the flip side, pescription drugs that affect your abilities, and the same recepters as drinking are not damning as much, and less provable. perhaps reskless driving charges are the only ways to nail that.
