Very true, but they targeted the wrong people all together imo.Toyota had the right idea with Scion, the Big3 should have tried something like that. young buyers could have bolstered sales

The plastic plant about 10 minutes from my house - where i was hopeing to get a job - just laid off like 50 people. They make the plastic pars for Cadillac.

Although they are doing really bad right now it doesn't mean that they will die off. There is hope but it gonna have to suck for a while.

A fun thing to do in the meantime is to test drive a brank new Honda Civic and then a brand new Chevy Cobalt. If GM would do that they might just realize their situation. The Cobalts have decent, efficient engines with good power and economy but it feels like a glorified go-kart.

Just like the economy GM is going to take a while to recover. They just need to hire assasins to take care of those retired people.

Damn this sucks too because I was really looking forward to finding an auto engineering job too. Is it even worth staying to earn my B.S. anymore?
