freydis Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 I agree. And it really touches me how upset he is in this video. The man has a real point, and communicates it eloquently.

Alas...the world be a shitty place. Tell me though, what group isn't discriminated against? Laws fly back and forth constantly changing never the same. I don't know your personal involvement with the issue but all you can do is hold on, take what you can get for now, and keep driving toward your goal. You may not feel that they are equally important but I feel the same way about the harshness of the smoking bans. *putting on fire suit*

But.... i just dont think what they did was fair. Give it, then take it away? That was awful.
Head Wreck Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 in UK law its really fucking damn near impossible to rescind a law, which can be a nightmare with knee jerk legislation but it seems in these cases i can count myself lucky.

That was awful. Yeah it was a horrible thing to do. But at least we know that the government is keeping with its traditions. I am not against marriage no matter who you are and who you want to marry and I don't think that all that many people are against it either. Just too many silent people...
Rev.Reverence Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Alas...the world be a shitty place. Tell me though, what group isn't discriminated against? RICH WHITE MEN.
candyman Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 RICH WHITE MEN. That all depends on the situation. I hate it when racist bastards call me white...
Rev.Reverence Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 That all depends on the situation. I hate it when racist bastards call me white... ...I hate it when anyone calls me white...but you asked for the group that is not discriminated against...& I see that group to be the "furthest" from being affected by other peoples prejudices...(not to mention the most protected by Law)

Hell, I have seen alot of rich white men discriminated against, at least in Wisconsin. And the werid thing is...I really don't think that they all deserved it.
