"Twitch" is by far my most favorite Ministry CD. Released in 86 and it still stands as groundbreaking, with few of todays bands even being able to match how great that album is. It was this CD and Cabaret Voltaires "Arm of the Lord" that got me into making my own music. You can also find additional remixes of this track on the Wax Trax "Twelve Inch Singles" release. Excellent stuff.

Another band worth checking out from around that time and with a similar sound to "Twitch" is Boston based Manufacture. The band members had actually been working in a similar sound to "Twitch" era Ministry and Manufactures debut "terrorvision" is said to be tracks that the Manufacture guys wrote for Jourgenson to be intended as the next release of Ministry after "Twitch". However Al would change the direction of Ministry at that time going into the harder direction of "Land of Rape and Honey".

Anyways, if you can hunt down the Manufacture releases (and I've seen them used in cd stores several times) grab them.

Off to drop Twitch on the record player, again
