Favorite Movie Genre

Ive found that most people in the scene enjoy comedy as there favorite genre which I find ironic...Personaly for me the best genre by far is horror. how about you?

And that comprises the majority of my collection of movies. Very little in the line of comedy (1941, Dr. Strangelove, and the Blues Brothers,) and only one love story (Creator with Peter O'Toole,) and only because it is a good human/science/ethics movie.

Historical Science fiction Or Steampunk as most people call it ( league of extraordinary gentleman, Van helsing, 20,000 leagues under the sea, the time machine, Around the World in Eighty Days ). I also like movies based on classic literature by writers like Charles Dickens, Jane Austen , Oscar Wilde, Jules Verne, ect. I like War film particularly english civil war, civil war, war of 1812, war of the republic of texas, ww1, ww2, Indian wars, boar wars, Napoleonic wars, and french and Indian wars. I enjoy watching comedy spoof there kinda corny but I love them. fantasy and adventure I like those as well.

I like them all.. my favorite one is the "good bad movie" as TheLordOfSin's mom calls em.. I call them the "horribly bad movies" the ones that are so bad, but are funny... the ones that are made bad on purpose... like: "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" and other such films.. :D

Movies like The Butterfly Effect., or Just plain Freaky/scary (not grotesque) suspenseful

My all time horror flick is Salem's Lot (original)

That it is. I was amazed that they did such a good job with it. Usually books to movies or games to movies end up being mediocre or bad.
