Tuomaaca Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Well, I'm really excited for winter break to start because... ...I'm finally starting a DnD adventure w/ my rommates! (first time in like 7 yrs)! Anyways, I'm gonna be a Chaotic-Good half-elf bard, and need help picking a name for 'im. Any suggestions?
Tuomaaca Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 are you going for seriouse or funny? more on the serious side. I want this to be epic.
taysteewonderbunny Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 more on the serious side. but that is humorous in and of itself lol Logorrhea, especially if he runs at the mouth.
taysteewonderbunny Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Logorrhea, especially if he runs at the mouth. Logorrhea Apropos. yeah, I'm still on about that. What did you decide to use, anyway?
CixWicked Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Ok, Well an epic name needs a good story... Hows this: His given name is Garris Tierafawn (Tara-fawn), with his Elvin father's surname, but both his parents were ostracized for blending their heritage, and chose to live outside of civilization. But they taught there boy the ways of music and lore. Both his his parents died tragically before he came of age... Probably by beings of a race normally thought of as benign, though their deaths were blamed on orcs, or gobs, or some other goblin race. In any case, he's returned to the cities and has only ever given his first name, though the denizens of many places have gotten into calling him. Garris Twoblood, which is just fine by him. He tends to have a less "It's a green thing, let's kill it" attitude than most because of his family background, and tends to be hard wired against stereotyping and prejudice because of the injustice of his families tragedy.
