Destroit Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I would like to visit Jerusalem on a Christmas before I die.$$ Very random for this thread , but then again I'd like to do the same, except I'd want to do it on Easter since it's actually symbolic and meaningful to Christianity, whereas Christmas is not quite so much.
Ace Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 I would like to visit Jerusalem on a Christmas before I die.$$ Raaandommm. Yes. But yeah. Christmas isn't really even a Christian holiday. Only by today's standards.
Rev.Reverence Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I know, right? Haha. :]"I ate a grape and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS" :O amazing. ...I really dug the WHOLE flow of the lyrics... .....really...great poetry...sweet mix...SUPERB all around
Destroit Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Raaandommm. Yes.But yeah. Christmas isn't really even a Christian holiday. Only by today's standards. Well, yes, and also the fact that the important aspect of Jesus is not so much that he was born, but the fact that he died and what he died for, which is celebrated by Easter. His birth is near meaningless, imo, to the entire grand scheme of it all, and it's not so much that I don't think you should pay homage to his birth (sometime in September), but it's that his birth is very very minor. His death is the punchline to the whole faith.
