Oh, you think YOU are a grammar nazi? On the way home from the club, I spotted a billboard sporting the slogan "Faculty who care", I think for EMU. I so want to write them; it's incorrect. "Faculty" is a collective term, like legion, league, class, genre, staff, team, etc. Either "Faculty THAT careS" or "Faculty MEMBERS who care" would be correct, but "Faculty who care" is nonsense.

Thanks. I was always puzzled on that one. There are some that say there are exceptions, but I think you're right. It makes it more consistent. I will tend to my commas from now on.
