· President Bush made an unannounced trip to Iraq on Sunday. He and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki signed a ceremonial copy of a U.S.-Iraq security agreement. Bush also dodged a pair of shoes flung by a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television during a news conference in Iraq. Later, the president joked the shoes were a size 10.

That's like one of the biggest insults in the culture too.

My mom told me that my great grandma always did that to my grandpa so I guess Italians do it too.

Oh wow headline news they threw a shoe at Bush...and Saddam, and their own reporters, and random people, and troops from countries besides the United States, and goats, and...

Seroiusly, this Bush shit got old a long time ago. This crap about Bush is like a perversion of Godwins law...

No I don't like the man but JESUS TITTY FUCKING CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not the fact that people are making fun of him, its just the tired boring jokes that people say over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

I'm glad he didn't get hit. It could have hurt the shoe.

Have you watched the video? The man has pretty good reflexs for being in his 60s.

Did u know that Bush I'm not sure if it was first (I think it was) or second term elections when asked who his idol or something to that fact responded "Jesus Christ". I think he told the truth but this war better not be about oil cuz that would really let me down. Now Know_Buddy_Cares (dan) a marine told me that he had killed iraqis I did not take to it well. Fighting and sparring and training is my past but to take the life of a man I could never do it, but he was a soldier and at least 1 US soldier dies every day in iraq(at least I believe so by ied's) I wish the war would end. Call me a liberal or what you want to but I don't like killing people. Even tho I have asked the question to dgn b4 if they had the urge to kill someone as a joke to the mods(cuz they've had me on moderation for a year and its never ending kinda like the iraqi war) they posted it and some people did admit the urge to kill. I was disappointed, but thats me. I may have an illness and like to fight hand to hand no pads just tape on knuckles but I do not like death(especially my own). As I speak my grandfather on my dads side had congestive heart problems a week ago(they put tubes in his arms and chest and the fluids draining off) looks like he'll make it, but he lied to me when we talked on the telephone 6 months ago when I asked him if he was still drinking whiskey he said "here and there" but when he got to the hospital my father told me the doctors said his liver enzymes were high meaning he lied to me and is still drinking whiskey daily I'm MAD. Hes 85 and needs to knock it off. Sorry for going off topic feel free to move this to another thread mods.

I have four friends that have died in Iraq and I am damn sure that if you could somehow ask them how they felt about that they wouldn't have anything negative to say. I still have five friends over there and one is coming back for Christmas. Just like the four that died Travis is cutting his break short and has already jumped on with another unitl that is leaving the day after Christmas. I have never met a soldier that didn't believe in what we are doing over there. My friend Matt was killed by an IED two years ago. When he was alive and back from his second tour he talked alot about what was going on ever there. When it came to some of the things he saw he cried, not because these things were bad things we had done but because he had never see things like this. The was kids were treated over there, the way women were treated over there, and the way that people in general were treated over there.

Oil, well, considering that the common people don't get jack shit we probably should do something about it but we haven't yet. Yeah war sucks dick and brings alot of suffering to alot of people. But these people have known nothing but suffering most of their live and if we could do something to give them a chance at a different life why the fuck shouldn't we. Sometimes I wish that I had joined the Marines like my friends because I feel kinda selfish knowing that I can do or day pretty much anything over here and have no problems. No, this war is not world peace but I will bet my life on the fact that if we had left them alone there wouldn't be any world peace either.

Just look up the Kurds and ask yourself why the middle eastern countries can't be like that. Oh and look up the time when Saddam killed thousands of them with chemical weapons...WMD's!

You are right. It has to be torture.

that other journalist that was right in front of him in the video.. the one that grabed his hand and twisted his arm after the second throw... the mix of secret service and journalists that tackled the guy... No way any of that would break a wrist and crack some ribs...

Posted

I don't even need a reason to torture people...but if Saddam tells me to torture those that speak against him I will go to that abandoned house and hang them by a hook with their feet in a bucket of water and then hook that car battery to their nipples...after I am done they will be put in that shallow grave I dug out back...oops that into was supposed to be suppressed! Ummm...oh well they have CSI to find out who he is they will tell what is left of his family later...
