Tacohitts Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I was around 16 years old when this happened, definately very sad,but they finally figured out who committed the murder of Adam Walsh in 1981 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081216/ap_on_re_us/adam_walsh
Guest greyhalo Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Yes, I read this earlier. I remember that case back in the 80s. Those poor parents.
TitsMcGee Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It's sad that they (the police) didn't figure it out untill after the suspect died. But at least he died in prision.
taysteewonderbunny Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 What was that about making us all more paranoid at the end of the article? Unfortunately, living in a country with the highest number of serial killers, we should be. Shame that the police lost the DNA evidence. Glad about the changes in the FBI registry. Now if only we could prevent the crimes in the first place.
Brenda Starrr Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Yes, I read this earlier. I remember that case back in the 80s. Those poor parents. I cannot imagine the pain...
prick Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I remember so well when Adam first ended up missing. I was 10 years old and parents were scarred for the safety of their children. His father sure took something horrible and made good by starting his show and bringing so many criminals behind bars.
Brenda Starrr Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I remember so well when Adam first ended up missing. I was 10 years old and parents were scarred for the safety of their children. His father sure took something horrible and made good by starting his show and bringing so many criminals behind bars. And a few people that I knew back in MD had met him, and said that he was a jerk. Imagine losing your son that way, and working tirelessly and with all your efforts to find the rat bastard that killed your kid. You CANNOT be expected to be pleasant every single day! I remember it as well, and it scared the shit out of me. It disgusted me to think that people can be so evil.
Rev.Reverence Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 SUX...but at least HE used his energies in a positive manner... ...& now they know the answer to their most burning question.
