i won't be doing anything this year...

Come OVER! We're doing our Orphan Christmas. We're cooking, and we have booze. We just ask that those who come over bring a side dish or a REALLY yummy dessert!

It will be me and my son in the morning, then we will go to my parents home mid morning until 12, then we all will head off to my grandmother's(dad's side) home for the afternoon, then we all will head to my other grandparents home early evening, then head home around 9pm that evening. It will be a full day, and I will need to catch up on my sleep the next day.

christmas is a family time. i'll be with my mum and dad and visiting various scattrings of the family. spending the most with my sister her boyfriend and my nephew.

If my family were here, it would be different. This is why Jeff and I do it the way we do. That way, our friends (who are a part of our family to us) can join if they so choose. Those who come for the first time are hopefully to become a part of it!

Even tho I am pagan I still usually exchanged gifts with friends on Christmas eve. I will be working from 2 pm Christmas eve till 2 pm Christmas day and also on new years eww!!! Not much of a holiday for me this year! :confused: I wish I was doing Chinese with kitty! :cat:

We are away from family now, and are celebrating Christmas on other dates (this weekend for my family, sometime in Feb. for his) so on the 25th, we are having a nice dinner and seeing The Spirit.

People like, show up, bring a dish, and then proceed to eat, drink, and be merry. It's pretty simple. I make a turkey, B is making potatoes, and there will be a Trivial Pursuit Bowl, instead of a college football game.

I'm going to open presents with my mom and step dad in the morning. Then I have work from 2-6:15. And then I'm going to my Nana's (late) to open presents and play video games and eat my Nana's homemade peanut butter cups. :drool

being at moms with the brothers, and then having a friend overnight and getting drunk...

and regretting it the next day since I have to travel the next morning
