we will be having guest dj's at dead-line, if either of you are interested please let me know.

the way we will have it set up is that the guest dj's get the back room to themselves.

They would be awesome!!!

Please don't let this stop you from going on Friday's that was not my intent on posting this.

Tell maggie to let me have a day off on a saturday. We can go and rock out cc on a Friday. I miss running aroud that place with you.... Ohhhh Sadness I forgot that fridays went down hill almost two years ago..... Oh well we can stick to Saturdays.. They seem to be getting better on playing what the people want. More Sadness :blink::beer:

the unfortunate incident detailed above happened at city club, not mephisto's, just want to make that clear.

Vamp V is in charge of venues and stuff, but i'd personally like to remain at mephisto's, the place is dark and cozy with great drinks.

again, please don't let this keep any of you from supporting cc on fridays or any other night. if you don't support your goth/industrial/alternative club nights they will go away and you'll be stuck with top40 and/or a sports bar as a replacement.

CC is one big bi-polar entity. I've fliered there without incident before as have others - their staff are weird like that, I guess. Don't really hang out there much myself. As there's no longer a Labyrinth or Ascension UK I'm sure that there are more than a few of us who'd like to see a new alternative to CC.

I wish I had been there... but enough of that. I really don't like going there anymore for several reasons but their staff is a major reason. I don't see the need for the patrons to be treated like shit and often see this there.... have experienced this myself several times. I don't give a fuck who you are.... if my wife is going to the bathroom and wants me near I am standing outside - no matter what kind of bathroom troll you place outside - this nearly got me kicked out once.... that's my wife and I protect her... not too mention the troll looking inside the woman's bathroom every other second - what a douche. (If the troll wasn't there I think I would have felt more safe with her going in - go figure)

I don't see the need at yelling at your patrons either.... the goth industrial crowd (to me) is one of the most passive group of people I've seen.... and I've seen them all.

This is why we started a night and I have stated this before... because I've heard nothing but complaints. and have seen it with my own eyes. Don't get me wrong... I love the building, I love the bar tenders, DJ's and the look and feel of the place but their bulldogs aren't needed.

Anyone from the other nights like deadline and nectos...etc is welcome to flier on our night and if ya let me know in advance - I'll take some and hand them out inside the club myself. It's about the scene - not a competition. I am glad that we all have our own night of the week giving this crowd a choice that doesn't compete with the other.

      I know the feeling! So get this, when I was stuck in ABQ I decided to re-activate my phone. Now, for years I have been running a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot for wifi instead of paying for actual phone service, because I get more data for 50 bucks on the wifi plan than I would get for the same price for my phone plan, and I don't call anybody very often if ever, so it only made sense. Well while I was in ABQ I got desperate and decided I needed to make some phone calls so I walked down to Walmart to get a  45 dollar plan for my phone, only to realize that I had to walk back to walmart again (4 miles one way) to get a new Sim card, because the one I had was too old, apparently...  Anyway, literally the second I reactivate my phone - I got a phone call from a frickin' debt collector!  I mean it was so instantaneous that I assimed it was Straight Talk calling to confirm my activation or something - instead it was somebody with a foreign accent that I could barely understand, asking for whoever the person was that previously had the phone number I had just been assigned. . . I was so irritated with this fact.    And yeah now I'm getting multiple calls, daily, from everybody and their brother, looking for whoever the person was that used to have this number.  Wells Fargo, AT&T, etc etc.    I think there needs to be some better way of doing this. Recycling phone numbers as fast as we do this day & age isn't working out very well. 🤷

      I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

      This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
